From Science to Smiles: Dr. Luo’s Background

Before dental school, Dr. Luo earned a Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology and a Bachelor of Arts in Finance from the University of Washington, graduating magna cum laude. This uncommon mix of science and strategy influences how he practices today—highly detail-oriented, evidence-based, and focused on results that last. He then completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency, further sharpening his training in dental implants, fixed and removable prosthetics, restorative dentistry, and comprehensive treatment planning.

As a member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and the American Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), Dr. Luo is dedicated to continuing education and staying current with modern techniques and evidence-based advancements—so patients can feel confident they’re receiving high-quality, up-to-date care.

Outside the office, Dr. Luo enjoys spending time fishing and hiking—interests shaped by growing up in Seattle, where Mt. Rainier hikes and salmon fishing are part of the local culture. He also loves to travel and has visited over 20 U.S. national parks, with a goal of seeing them all someday. A big foodie at heart, he enjoys experimenting in the kitchen and trying new restaurants.
